Leaving Faron Woods, Returning to Skyloft

My constant companion who does not enjoy fun.

After completing all of my tasks in Faron Woods , Fi says that she does notthink I am ready for Skyview Temple. I wish I could say that Fi was wrong, but she was right. I drank a red potion only moments after landing on the planet. Alright, off to Skyloft I go!

Anyone who loves efficiency would hate the next hour of my game time. I decided that I was going to ignore my guide and explore on my own. You can guess where this is going, right? Yep, I ran all over Skyloft and the air like a cucco. It was embarrassing.

As soon as I got above the clouds, I decided to get all of the treasure chests. I then went to Skyloft where I discovered several quests that took me to places that were near many of the newly opened treasure chests. This would not be that big of a deal, but I am not great at hitting all of the wind turbine rocks, so it takes forever to get to the far corners of the map. Where is my ocarina? I am Link, so I should just warp everywhere!

One place that was fun but weird was the Bamboo Island where I met Peater. Peater is a bit creepy, because he is obsessed with protecting his daughter to the point that he is stress eating. There are not too many eligible partners for his daughter, so he probably knows all of them anyway. Does he think that she is going to runaway? Peater, buddy, she would have already left if there was someplace she could go. Peatrice and her future partner will end up living next door to him. Peater needs to chill out.

It was very satisfying to be able to visit Beedle’s Air Shop and buy a few high end items. I also loved that I could even buy a few items in the bazaar. The Goddess chests really helped me gather rupees!
